Fun Fact: Singapore is one of only three surviving city-states in the world, alongside Monaco and Vatican City. Singapore is incredibly diverse and vibrant culture, with four official languages: English, Malay, Mandarin, and Tamil.
Good morning!
Today started with a mission: getting my shattered phone fixed. Thankfully, luck was on my side. After the mishap, I quickly signed up for AppleCare (yes, after the break!), and it only cost me $10 upfront plus a $50 service fee to get my phone repaired. Crisis averted!
The repair shop was conveniently located right at Marina Bay Sands, one of Singapore's most iconic spots. After dropping off my phone, I took the opportunity to explore the area. The architecture is stunning, and the whole place feels like luxury.
I wandered through the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, which are packed with high-end stores, and indulged in some fantastic local food—Singapore's culinary scene is on another level! From hawker-style bites to upscale dining, there’s something for every craving.
Next up was the ArtScience Museum. Its lotus-shaped design is as striking on the outside as the exhibits are inside. The interactive displays and immersive art installations were incredible, blending technology and creativity in a way that felt uniquely Singaporean.
After soaking up the sights and culture, I made my way back to the hotel to unwind. A relaxing swim was just what I needed to cap off the day. Floating in the water, reflecting on the day’s adventures, I felt grateful for how even small setbacks can lead to unexpected highlights.
Singapore continues to amaze me, and I can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds. Stay tuned for more adventures!
