Good Morning: A Day of Highs and Lows

Today started bright and early with a ride to the airport as I bid farewell to Thailand and prepared for the next chapter of my journey. Naturally, I couldn’t resist checking out the airport lounges before my flight. Unfortunately, they didn’t live up to expectations. The lounges were quite small, and the food selection was underwhelming—far from the relaxing pre-flight experience I had hoped for.

To add to the morning's challenges, my flight was delayed by two hours. A bit frustrating, but travel isn’t always smooth sailing. Finally, boarding began, and things took a turn for the better.

The flight itself was a solid experience! Here’s the breakdown:

In-Flight Entertainment (IFE): 10/10 – A fantastic selection that kept me entertained the whole way.

Food: 10/10 Delicious and satisfying, a true highlight of the trip.

Comfort: 10/10 – Spacious seating and great amenities made for a relaxing ride.

Service: 5/10 – This was the weak spot; not the friendliest or most attentive crew.

Final Score: 35/40 – Not bad at all!

After landing, I headed straight to my hotel and checked in, excited to unwind after the long travel day. But then, disaster struck.

While hopping into the shower, I placed my brand-new phone on a high shelf to play music. Big mistake. It slipped, fell, and shattered on the bathroom floor. Talk about a gut-punch to end the day.

So, for the next 24–48 hours, you’ll have to bear with me—no photos in this post until I can figure out a solution. It’s frustrating, but hey, that’s part of the adventure, right?

Tomorrow is a new day, and I’m ready to keep exploring despite the setback. Stay tuned for more updates (and hopefully fewer shattered screens)!
